We meet at the Farmington Firehouse located at at 6:30 AM
82 North 100 east,
Farmington, Utah, 84025
Attendees should arrive between 6:15 and 6:30 am. At 6:45 AM the school bell will ring once followed by a minute of silence. This is the time the first tower was hit by the plane. Then we will have a photo opportunity and chance to talk and meet everyone. before the second bell rings at 7:03
For thos who want to make the hike after here is the importance of the hike:
Flag rock stands the height of the former world trade center. This is a great opportunity to see what the view was like from up top. it will also help understand what the fire fighters endured as they walked the stairs up to rescue those in the towers.
I know I was one of the first responders in NYC on 9/11. The first three years this Hike took a lot out of me emotionally bringing back memories and emotions I didn't want. over time the healing progresses. I WILL NEVER FORGET.
Once on top we take photos of the group before heading back down.
get there early and Speak with myself or others. I am always willing to share my experiences of that day.
Rain or shine the gathering occurs.
