EMS Escapades Traditional Geocache
Tarrytown Horsemen: We are back into the Geocaching swing of thins & are archiving this cache (see that some others of ours have had this done, although I never received an e-mail notification). We'll be placing this in another, perhaps better location. Thanks for going to it anyway!

Now celebrating almost 1 full year of being EMT-B's!
"Both of us are taking an EMT-B class in hopes to continue on to becoming Paramedics. Since we are now at about our halfway mark to finishing this class, we decided to blow off some steam after a particularly hard class on Saturday 9/21/02 by placing this cache. We both are wondering what the story is behind this site...very interesting 'item' [;)] here (not counting our cache). We would've tried to help this person, but who knows what really & how long ago it took place. Any guesses??????????" This was written so long ago it seems! We will have been officially EMT-B's for 1 year as of the end of November, 2003! We checked on this cache today (8/5/03) & have logged it below. The original cache box, as we understand, was damaged...and is now totally MIA! We replaced it with an ammo box with all sorts of goodies!!! Also...as reported below (& we didn't originally realise)...a permit is needed, but is free by going to the website listed in 1 of the logs...or take your chances...we never see anybody around anyway!
The hike to the cache is relatively easy (please let us know if you think we should change the terrain difficulty)...but actually finding the spot to start your hike is the main challenge! A really neat & interesting area...pretty wild that people live not too far from here!!! Parking coords will be included below in the Hints/Spoiler Info, but will not be encrypted like the rest of the note. If you don't want to know, don't look!
We have included the following in our cache: TONS of stickers
3 Tarrytown Horsemen glow-in-the-dark keychains
American Flag pins & stickers
Scratch off NY Lottery ticket
Big crayons
Prank squirty smiley face
Prank wobbley pencil
Fly by Night Travel Bug
Log Book, pen, pencil
The cache is a Rubbermaid type box, about the size of a shoebox. It has been spray painted 3 different colors for camoflage & has an official GeoCaching sticker on the lid. It has also been well hidden by leaves, sticks, & a couple of small rocks. Please cover it up well when you're done! Thanks & happy hunting!!!!!!!!!

PS Not 1 of the virtual caches that the lady member of this team has been placing! [:I]
