Geocache Description:

Just for fun....

Magic Eye is a series of books that feature autostereograms which allow some people to see 3D images by focusing on 2D patterns. The viewer must diverge their eyes in order to see a hidden three-dimensional image within the pattern. "Magic Eye" has become something of a generic trademark, often used to refer to autostereograms of any origin. The autostereogram predates the Magic Eye series by several years. Christopher Tyler created the first black-and-white autostereograms in 1979 with the assistance of computer programmer Maureen Clarke.

What can you see?

Are you stumped over a particular puzzle cache?

Are you tearing your hair out trying to figure out where to start?

Do you lie awake at night with endless fruitless solutions swimming around your brain?

Then this event may be just what you are looking for!!

After the success of previous events, it's time for another Coffee, Cakes and Conundrums. Come and join us for a meal (if you wish) before we put our heads together and see what solutions we can come up with. Some attendees might like to post the puzzle cache they would like to work on in their “Will Attend” log. If they choose, other attendees can then indicate what group they would like to join.

There are a few rules I would like event participants to adhere to:

1. If in attendance, the puzzle cache owner or anyone who has solved a particular puzzle cache can offer a small amount of advice or hints to a group that is completely stuck in order to get them started on the right track. Groups are not to be told exactly how to solve the puzzle cache they are working on.

2. Once a solution to a puzzle is found, it must not be shared with other event attendees who did not work on that particular puzzle.

3. No solutions to puzzles are to be communicated through any online format.

There are many geocachers out there, like me, with the same problems when it comes to puzzle caches so why not come together for an evening where we can pool our knowledge and resources, share our frustrations and try and come up with some solutions.

I’m looking forward to seeing you there.

Cheers,

Calypso62
