Geocache Description:

A cache at one of my favorite places, the waterfalls on Big Run.



This is another cache for those who like a challenge. I will tell you that the cache is hidden on the rock face between the left and right drop of the third waterfall. The right side of the fall only flows when the water level is up. If the water level is up, it's going to be very hard. There are two ways to approach the cache, from the top of the fall and climb down or find a way through the rhododendron to the bottom of the fall and wade. I've yet to find a way through the rhododendron. You'll be looking for a waterproof cell phone case. It has a logbook and some small trade items, mostly coins. The road to the cache site has had some gravel put down part of the way there. After the gravel stops the road gets rough. If you have a high clearance vehicle, you can park at the campsite. If not, check the low clearance parking waypoints.
