Magnetic Key Holder in a nice city park - both stages involve sidewalk and mowed grass with only a short walk in between. You may need to reference your GPS manual for this one.
At the listed coordinates you will find the location of a time capsule planted by the city of Gering. Also a large carved piece of sandstone that is the remnant of a building built in the early 1900's and torn down in 1973. The city also erected a monument to its pioneering past here. To locate the actual cache you will need to stand on the bench near the coordinates and project a new waypoint at 90 degrees from true north at a distance of 186 feet. Look in your GPS manual or online guides on just how to do that. Most all models have the feature built in. This cache is not only designed to bring you to this nice park but also to introduce you to addtional features of your GPS unit. Watch for young curious muggles as they frequent the area. Have fun with this and don't stress over it.
