Geocache Description:

Phuket Aquarium Turtle rescue centre THE TURTLE SANCUARY IS UNDER ENOVATION SO ONLY A FEW TURTLES HERE UBTIL 2018. STILL WORTH VISITING THOUGH.

......A lovely little aquarium worth a visit anyway. 200 bht entry but it is free to visit the turtle rescue center round the back. Walk along the beach in front of the aquarium for beautiful views of Chalong bay and Lone Island among others or up the road for wheelchair access or along the nature trail by the beach. The turtles are rescued from fishing accidents around Phuket, treated and either released or kept at the aquarium. Enjoy the view and lunch along the seafront afterwards.
