Benitses Springs
This cache will
lead you to the "Emerald valley" above Benitses (Mpenitses). Here
you will find small waterfalls, that are impressive from autumn to
spring, but have less water (or may even be desiccated) during
summer.
Nevertheless this
is a relaxing walk in elemental nature, along decayed and overgrown
houses, leading to a small church.
You can park your
car/scooter at the given waypoint and then take the path from the
small village over the long bridge uphill the mountain.
Alternatively you can take a walk directly from the old town of
Benitses.
The Cache is
hidden in a small cavity in the rock, behind a stone (on the right
side going up the stairs to the church). Dont' miss the walk through the "tunnel" - here you have
the best view to the waterfalls!
