Even though he joined the PGA tour in 1967, Rives McBee
(born in 1938) spent most of his career as a club professional
and won the 1973 PGA Club Professional Championship.
After joining the Senior (now Champions) Tour in 1989,
McBee won the RJR Bank One Classic (1989)
and the Showdown Classic and Vantage Bank One Classic in 1990,
the year he played a tour record 115 official rounds.
By July 2002, McBee had won over $1.7 million
on the Seniors Tour, ranking #95.
Although Rives McBee is the FP Series celebrity, this cache is also dedicated to a whole growing family of famous Rives'. At least to me they are all famous.
