An All American Celebration on The Fourth of July!
Yep...We are making it OFFICIAL! The geocaching team of Stuart and
Susan, known as the Lakeshore Geocachers have a big reason to
CELEBRATE..and they are doing so by throwing a GeoPicnic on July
4th! We are talking good, ol' fashioned, country Americana. For
those of you not familiar with the requirements for such a novelty,
here's a list of what you will need: - a GPSr - a sense of humor -
comfortable caching clothing - an appetite for a catered picnic -
sunblock - squirtgun of choice What you don't need: - a stuffy
meeting hall - a rubber chicken - a tux, suit, or any fancy outfit
involving a bow or a tie Our "All American Picnic" will take place
in Krull Park in Olcott, NY. All the usual event perks will be
there. The festivities kick off at 2 o'clock PM, and go until
dusk...(The park closes then). Please make sure when you post your
attendence you let us know how many so we can make sure we have
enough chow for all! Come on, when was sending an RSVP this easy?
There will also be an abundance of quality event caches for
attendees to search out. Don't have a GPSr and you're new to the
game? We have an introductory class to show you the ropes of
caching as well! If a full afternoon of good, ol' fashioned caching
and a picnic sounds like your idea of a celebration, GREAT! You
agree with us! Make plans to attend, and we'll see you there!
