The first Methodist society was formed in the Parish in 1808. The first Chapel was built in Pipers Pool in 1839 and was on the site of the current car park. The present Chapel building was opened in 1876. The Chapel continues to be used for weekly Christian Worship services on Sundays and is led by Methodist Local Preachers and Ministers from the Launceston Circuit. On the first Sunday of the month a Café-style Church is held which is a more informal time of worship held in the schoolroom. The Church and schoolroom are increasingly being used as a centre for various community activities. These include a monthly lunch club, a Parents and Toddlers group held twice monthly, Pipers Pool Ladies group meeting monthly as well as Parish meetings. The Chapel has a well equipped kitchen facility.
