For many people with an ATV, the dunes are a popular place during weekends and holidays, or just people who want to stick their toes in the sand. You will have to start by exiting off Grays Well Road. I advise parking in the nearby parking lot so you don’t get stuck in the sand; and bring your own writing stick, you will need it.
This is a desert area and all the normal precautions apply.
