What is it?


Join us for a very special screening of the 16 short film finalists of the 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). Geocaching film festival screenings will be held worldwide during November 3 - 7. Come view these creative films, meet local Geocachers, discuss your favorite caches and bring trackables to trade. All of these films are kid friendly, so bring the whole family and join us for our Geocaching Movie Matinee!

The 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) is a series of short films put together by Geocachers for Geocachers! It was originally held during the geocaching “Block Party”. Now local Geocachers can host events to show the GIFF finalists to their fellow Geocachers! Groundspeak will be giving a virtual souvenir to anyone that logs an "Attended" on one of the GIFF Events!

Popcorn and bottled water will be provided! If you wish to bring a snack to share with the group, that would be great although not required. Feel free to bring your own drink if you prefer something different than water.

When: Thursday November 3, 2016 @ 12:00PM until 2:00PM (Central Time)
The movie will start promptly at 12:30 and run approximately 1 hour.

The event will be held in the large meeting room of the McCollough Library. 5115 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715.
If you enter the library from the back parking lot, the meeting room will be on your left after entering the library.

I can’t wait to see everybody there and watch my first film about geocaching!! Woo Hoo!!
