Short scramble from the nearest parking spot.
While now signposted from the Al Awali district it is still not that easy to find as the signposts are both intermittent and, in one case, wrong. It you reach the Airbase you have missed it.
The Tree of Life stands alone in the desert some 2k from Jebel Dakhan. It is estimated
to be 400 years old and in such an arid spot there is no known source of water – still the tree lives on!
The cache is near here on the low hills across the road. It is not difficult to reach or find and contains goodies for both adults and children.
