Caffiene is the most commonly used psychoactive drug in the world. It releases dopamine, and is said to increase concentration, decrease fatigue and improve memory. It can also improve cognitive perception, which allows for better learning, and potentially a better memory and is thus a favorite of students studying for final exams. However, caffiene also produces metabolites that can increase anxiety, nausea, and even cause trembling, which some will call the 'jitters' from having drunk too much coffee.
