Sutton Quarry Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

geohatter: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a beautiful area of north Hereford, high above Sutton-St-Nicholas. The bridleway leading to the quarry is quiet and single track, walking shoes or sturdy trainers are recommended. The Quarry can be accessed from 2 directions, either Sutton village or the Wyatt Road. There is only one access route into the quarry.

This is a personal cache to me as its an area that I spent most of my childhood playing. I can still see the jumps that I made for our bikes some 24 years ago!!! There is little parking near the bridleway so why not cycle out that way and make an afternoon / evening of it. You can however park your car in the village of Sutton at the nearby village hall. The cache contains a logbook and pencil. The box is clearly labelled as a cache with standard rules inside.
