Situated on the North Eastern most point of the Kinder Scout plateau. Make sure you are properly equipped for a sizable climb and muddy paths.
This cache can be approached from either direction on the north edge of the Kinder plateau, or by climbing from the A57 Snake Pass. The cache secreted in a hole in the rock. Take special care on the rocks while looking as they are very slippy when wet.
Kinder Scout does not suffer fools easily in autumn/winter. While walking placing this cache I experienced heavy cloud cover, glorious sunshine, torrential rain and a hail storm.
I saw a family walking through a peat bog in trainers and "bin bag" style waterproofs! Edale mountain rescue DO NOT have a loyalty scheme and won't be happy if you set out like that!
