The cache is in sandy scrub and off the beaten path, about at sea
level. The cache was renewed on 12 September 2010.
The cache is a small box that is buried (with side exposed) in the
sandy soil behind a tree with two trunks that appear to be having a
cuddle, a shape that is almost unique there. The site is anything
but dangerous, unless, perhaps, the tide is unusually high. The
cache contains little of value, just moderately useful or fun bits.
Don't forget to fill out the log book and replace the box well in
its hole (wrapped in the plastic sheet). It is easily concealed
with sticks and leaves behind the tree. The cache is best
approached in togs, along the beach heading north. Going under a
footbridge is probably the easiest way to access the site. Bring
the dog for a swim. This is an easily managed and good experience
for the children. Park your car at S26 46.658 / E153 08.254, and
then set out for the cache from there, if you like. Wear a hat and
sunscreen.
