A 1.5 mile roundtrip hike in Locust Shade Park.
This is a less travelled section of the park but I like the solitude, not that it really gets too busy on these trails anyway. Follow the green trail across the great divide. The trail can be a little hard to find with all the leaves but is easier to find in the spring and summer. Don't forget about the other great caches that are a long the way or nearby. Apparently there are more caches than I knew of so the cache name took on greater meaning as I had to move still, A Little Farther ... but the final location has an overlook of a nice creek. This may be a little difficult to get to in the snow but not impossible, since I placed it a few days after a recent snowfall. Container is a camouflaged 5.5 cup lock and lock.
Park hours are dawn to dusk.
