The Mimic Octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus) is a real thing. It is not only able to color change, but to take it a step further. They not only revamp their pattern on a dime, but changing the very shape of their bodies to imitate the host transforming the texture of its skin to match that of whatever it clings to.
-note: please make sure you replace it exactly as found, as it lays a certian way for the cache to attach to the host.
