Little Long Lake PWA - NEW HIDE! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MN.Fruitcake: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

***NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply to the archive note email. Click on the link to go to the cache page and click on my name in the archive log at the bottom of the page. You can then send me an email regarding the cache. Please send me a link to the cache in question so I will know which cache it is regarding. I will not see notes posted to this cache page once it is archived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

*** Cache hide is winter friendly - but you may need to dig for it and the lot isn't always plowed. ice fisherman trucks will pack things down after awhile ***
Little Long Lake Public Water Access. Cache contains: log book, pencil, shells we collected in florida, sleeve tattoo, airplane, and Calvin's Fish TB

This is one of the few lakes in the area that is stocked with Trout. Deepest spot is in the middle: 76 feet. Very clean and clear lake - popular for scuba divers in the summer. Lake also contains sunfish, northern pike, crappie, large mouth bass, bullhead.

This cache is placed for my son. This is the lake where he caught his first fish 10 years ago, at just 2.5 years old. We have had a lot of good times fishing here - both on land (down the path to your right) and in a small boat (once we finally got one).

Hope you enjoy the area! Happy hunting!

CONGRATULATIONS to speedysk1 for FTF!!!
