Autostrada A2 przebiega przez centralną Polskę, łączy granicę wschodnią (Kukuryki, Białoruś) z zachodnią (Świecie, Niemcy) i jest częścią międzynarodowej drogi E30 biegnącej z Cork w Irlandii aż do Omska w Rosji (około 5800km).
Planowana długość trasy to 657km, z czego do użytku oddano już 475km. Pierwszą przeszkodą po 454km drogi z Niemiec to Warszawa... na obwodnicę miasta przyjdzie nam czekać jeszcze kilka lat. Budowa autostrady od granicy do granicy ma zostać ukończona w 2020 roku.

A2 Highway runs through central Poland and links Polish eastern border (Kukuryki, Belarus) with western border (Åšwiecie, Germany). It is a part of European route E30 running from Cork, Ireland to Omsk, Russia (about 5800km).
Currently there are 475km ready for use out of planned 657km. When driving from Germany the first obstacle on your way will be Warsaw... ring road will be under construction for next few years. A2 Highway will be completed in 2020.
MOP Police - Rest Area - is placed on 287 km of A2 Highway when heading to the east, just by Koło.

L'autoroute A2 est une autoroute polonaise d’une longueur de totale de 657 km, dont les trois quarts sont déjà ouverts à la circulation, la partie orientale étant pour partie en travaux et pour partie encore à l’état de projet. Cette autoroute, payante sur la plus grande partie de son parcours, fait partie de la route européenne 30 devrait être achevée en 2020. Elle traversera entièrement le pays d’est en ouest, de Kukuryki, près de Brest (à la frontière biélorusse) jusqu’à Swiecko, près de Francfort-sur-l'Oder (à la frontière allemande). À l’ouest, elle est prolongée vers Berlin par l'autoroute allemande BAB 12 et elle débouchera à l’est sur la route fédérale M1 <<Bélarus>>, qui conduit à Minsk et Moscou.
Aire de repos Police est placé sur 287 km de l'autoroute A2 sens Świecko-Kukuryki.
