This cache is the last one in the "Back to Nature Series" and of course I save the best for last. This is my favorite of all the caches. It is one steep hike to cache site but worth every step!
Be aware that once you reach your destination you will have to do a little navigating around large boulders to reach cache.
It is an ammo box. This series of caches is placed along the driving tour of Madison County. You can pick up a brochure on this at the Visitors Center in Mars Hill.This particular area is not a highlight on the tour but is on the route. You will need to turn onto Silvermine Road off the Paint Rock excursion part of the tour. The parking coord. are N 35*53.562 W 082*49.103
