Geocache Description:

Located in Weusthoff Park.

I often am amazed at the artwork that Mother Nature turns out. From the beautiful symmetry of a water lily, to the graceful arch of a tree canopy over a trail, to the unique configurations of live oaks that seem to be living sculptures. She truly is an accomplished artist, unrivaled in her finesse and originality. Even when something is no longer living, its beauty can still be appreciated by those who choose to view their surroundings much like a child would. The newly renovated trails at Weusthoff Park offer a short stroll through something that resembles a rain forest. The abundance and variety of vegetation are explained by the rich black soil that lies underfoot. I hope that when you find the cache, you will also enjoy this "radiant" sculpture that Mother Nature has left for us.

Weusthoff Park used to be home to one of the first caches I ever did. It is also home to Deja Vu (at Barna Trails) which I placed when Barna Trails cache by JackRabbit & Kids was archived.

Recently, this park has benefitted from renovations done by Brevard County Parks and Recreation. A new paved bike trail has been added, as well as a series of fitness stations for senior citizens. There is now a new handicapped accessible restroom facility and a drinking fountain, too.

The trails have recently been widened and added to in the nature trail area. It makes for a much nicer walk, and feels like you're walking through a rain forest. Please take time to check out the other caches here as well as enjoying the trails.

The cache is a 1 quart plastic container that is camoed. Please take care to rehide so that no portion of the cache is visible to non-cachers who may be hiking the trails.
