An easy find on the banks of the Ammonoosuc River near the Upper Falls. We couldn't believe there was no cache here! In the summertime this location is a popular swimming hole and cliff jumping area; in the winter the gorge is transformed into an icicle-covered wonderland. Cache is easily accessible from Base Station Road, but if you're looking for added adventure, it can be accessed via the trails on the other side of the river (Trail pass required). Come in the winter for cross-country skiing or in the summer for mountian biking!
Please use caution if swimming or cliff jumping in the nearby falls. At least one person has died here; DO NOT swim if the water level is above normal levels or if you are not a strong swimmer.
This cache was inspired by Snowsunflowers's cache "White Mountains Alphabet Multiplication" (GC327HM) which we found during the final hours of 2017 (hence the name). Please do not remove the "I is for Igloo" card inside the container.
