Geocache Description:

A relatively short hike on the Bent Creek Community Park Nature Trail to a ridiculously large cache.

My two little cachers, adiggitydog and zo-bot, enjoy going caching with me, but they have some requirements. 1) They aren't crazy about Park and Grabs. They don't see the point in driving up to a sign and yanking a metal holder from it. They prefer either a short hike or a simple puzzle to keep them interested. 2) They don't like micros. They like the idea that when they open the cache, there is going to be some kind of "treasure" in there. Whether it's a trinket or a pathtag, they love looking at the contents of a cache and reading any notes in the logs. For them, that is what caching is all about! This cache definitely fulfills those requirements.

This cache was hidden with my daughters in mind. My youngest daughter decided we should hide another cache near our neighborhood park, but that it should be BIG (since those are her favorites)! I took her to the store and let her pick out the container. In retrospect, I'm not sure that was a good idea. . .

You are looking for a LARGE container that started out holding some books, some CDs, lots of kid's stuff, and a travel bug. This one is hidden close to the trail since it was hidden with kids in mind, so please watch for neighborhood muggles. This trail can be muddy when there has been lots of rain.

See below for Parking and Trailhead Waypoints.
