Downies Burn, runs off the Rhinns of Kells and then past the old bothy of Backhill of Bush. The area is an isolated one, amongst the wilds of the Galloway Hills, though you can walk all the way from Craigencallie along forestry tracks to near the cache location. From near the cache location, you get a good view of the old bothy and the Dungeon Hills in the background.
