The cache is hidden between street level and high tide mark.

This is a famous place, so almost doesn't need a huge amount of detail. The car park has a couple of notice boards for information, and there is a monument (unveiled in 2012) to the men and boys that died in the construction of the Forth Bridge.
From the cache site there is a stunning view of the Forth Bridge, The Forth Road Bridge, and the Queensferry Crossing. The latter is currently half its full height, with 10% of the deck in place (27th January 2015).
The Forth Bridge was opened in 1890, having taken eight years to build. It is about 2.5km long and 100m tall.
The Forth Road Bridge was opened in 1964, also about 2.5km long (though very slightly shorter than the Rail Bridge) and 156m tall.
The Queensferry Crossing will be opened in 2016. It will be 2.7km long and 210m tall.
I would encourage you to explore the area, as there is plenty to see. I would recommend trying to reach higher points to get a better view. None much better than can be seen from Poppy Four (on high) - GC20R0
And there are usually some nice flat stones on the beach for skimming. Some may even have fossils.
