Dogs are pretty amazing and one of the most popular pets around. As a domesticated form of the gray wolf, dogs are certainly man’s best friend, dedicating their lives to defending their masters and loving them unconditionally. Dogs are generally amazing creatures and every day we’re constantly learning much more about them. From the smallest at about 4 ounces to the largest those at about 343 lbs., dogs are very diverse and hence perform several functions for humans, like companionship, protection, and loyalty up to their dying breath.
These caches are located along the Dunnellon Trail South of Dunnellon, FL. Lying largely within the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway, this trail passes 2.5 miles through stands of cypress and across the Withlacoochee River over a magnificent new (in 2014) bridge. A spur partway along the trail connects to Blue Run, a small Dunnellon park less than a mile from town. The trail serves as part of a potential connector from the Withlacoochee State Trail into Dunnellon and to the Greenway. The trail, however, is more than just a connector. It is quite beautiful in its own right, and is well worth seeing if you are riding or walking the Withlacoochee Trail or visiting Rainbow Springs, also in Dunnellon.
