So whats in a name? The name to this cache is not a hint, clue, or
reference to the cache. So why the name? Why not!
This is a Letter Box Cache, please bring your
personalized stamp, to stamp our log book. If you do not have one,
you may use the one provided in the cache, however, please do not
remove the stamp or ink pad from the cache.
The idea of a Letter Box Cache, is for you to bring your own
personlized stamp, and use it to stamp our log book (along with
signing it), and then you use the stamp provided in the cache to
stamp Your log book that you brought with you. Your log book is one
that you take to all of the Letter Box Caches you have visited,
collecting all of the stamped pictures in. Each Letter Box Cache
stamps picture is unique for each Letter Box Cache you visit.
This cache has been a very active cache for us. Thanks for all
who have visited it. We have restocked it back up with great trade
items, and will continue to do so.
On June 1st 2008 we moved the cache south
from its original location, to make it more accessible, and so
cachers don't walk through the Boy Scouts Camp Fire Bowl to find
it. We have also replaced the container with a new one, dropped a
new log book, and updated this to a Letter Box Cache.
On 5-31-05 I deloveped the pictures from the camera in the
cache, check them out. Some of the Geocachers in the photos I
listed as "Unknown", if you would like to be recognized for your
photogenic apparition, please email us, and we will label your
picture with your caching name.
