Geocache Description:

Beautiful area with rolling meadows, cows, an occasional wild turkey or 2 (not the drink). You definately don't feel like you're in Westchester County. The walk to the site is definately easy. Parking is on the side of the street in relatively small gravel "pull-offs" (where you pull-off the side of the road).

This cache is a large oval Tupperware container (1 you might store flour, sugar, or the like in) & has been spray painted. Inside it is a notebook (please sign!), pen, pencil, a homemade greeting card, 1 Where's George? bill, coffee, among other goodies. We'll be going back to add more/different goodies as the mood strikes us!

Park on the side of the road in 1 of the gravel "pull-offs" nearest the 2 entrances directly opposite of each other. The walk to the cache is pretty straight forward & easy, but the cache is pretty well hidden (at least we think so, for our 1st time hiding 1). Whenever we visit the area, we never feel like we're in Westchester anymore. Check out Elsie & her friends while they check you out!

While in the area, do try to see the Rockefeller Estate not far down the road.

10/10/01 UPDATE We went to check on the cache & found all well. Thanks to everyone who has been here already!!!! We retrieved travel bug "DJs First" & replaced it with a travel bug of our own named "Elsie McMoocow." Our travel bug is in its own seperate container (placed right next to the cache) & is a clear plastic mailing tube with red rubbery caps on either end. Instructions are included as to the direction "Elsie McMoocow" wants to travel. We're hoping that someone from the geocaching world will find herr & start her out on her journey! Thanks in advance!!!
