A bit of an experiment to see if this sort of hide works, is well received by geocachers and stands the test of time,
It's a 5-10 minute walk to the cache from the parking spot, the scenery is pleasant and the boats good to look at. The cache container is small with a screw on lid to keep the contents dry (hopefully). Please replace the lid well to prevent moisture ingress.
It can be a little muddy on the towpath, and take care at the lock and along the towpath, particularly if you are taking kids.
