Second hide in my "Cache Greenway Fever" series. The Stones River Greenway system winds along the banks of the Stones River and Lytle Creek, offering walkers, runners, and bikers a chance to get a little taste of nature among the urban jungle. I've placed these to give fellow Geocachers a chance to see this up close and personal.
This cache is placed near the Stones River Greenway as it nears its "underpass" of Bridge Avenue. It is specifically placed to allow some shelter from high waters and leaves and debris that might obscure it. I strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to just enjoy the sound of the water flowing nearby! This cache is placed on the "high side" of the bank to keep it out of potential flood waters as much as possible.Can be a park and grab if need be, but slow down and enjoy life for just a minute!!
