This is a multicache located in Harlowton. It will take you around to a couple of locations so you can see some historic railroad items.
Go to the first set up coordinates, and there you will find a large plaque. On the plaque, find how many horse power starting effort it says, and take that value and subtract it from 3157; this is value “A“.
Next, go to N46 25.854 W109 49.“A“. There you will find the geocache. It is a black ammo box.
When we placed it, it contained 3 matchbox cars and an astronaut keychain. There is a log book and a pen and pencil. We also put 5 free drink chips from the Stockman’s Bar, which is located on Main Street in Harlowton; 4 coupons from the Snowy Mountain Coffee Store which is also located on Main Street in Harlowton, each one is worth $3.00 (a coffee costs $2.50); and 4 E57-B post cards, which came from the Times-Clarion newspaper office, also located on Main Street in Harlowton. Please feel free to take one of the chips, or one of the coffee coupons. Also, please take one of the post cards. If you are a railroad buff, you'll enjoy this cache.
A safety note, please watch for rattlesnakes. Chances are you won’t see one, but this is rattlesnake country, so be careful.
This cache is located on private property, and we received permission to place it there.
