On the Aintoura-Zahle road, there is a peculiar location containing the statues of all the known holy figures in Lebanon including : Jesus, Virgin Mary, St Rafqa, St Charbel, Our Lady of Beshwet, St Joseph, St Elias, St Georges, St Maroun, …
The big inclined rock in the location is known as “The rock of the deaf” and it is rumored that a person standing on this rock cannot hear any sound from the surrounding area.
Since we cannot confirm nor deny the accuracy of this theory, the feedback of any geocacher willing to put it to the test will be highly appreciated.
After parking on the road side near the statues, you will need to walk about 70m uphill and climb a few rocks in order to reach the cache location.
The cache is a small transparent container with a red lid placed between two big rocks under an oak tree.
It contains a log book and a few items. Please bring your own pen.
This cache was placed on 01 November, celebrated as All Saints' Day in Lebanon.
