This cache is located at the Lena Beach Picnic Grounds.
The Lena Beach Picnic grounds has easy access to a pebble beach, lots of picnic tables and is a good spot to pick salmon berries in late summer. Fires are allowed in the established fire rings, but camping is not. Also glass containers are not allowed. The road to the picnic grounds is not maintained in winter so winter cachers may have to walk or ski in depending on snow conditions. The cache should be an easy find although the “trail” is pretty over grown, but my 7 year old daughter helped place the cache without any major difficulties. The cache is a dry box. GPS accuracy was 16 feet at the hide on its hiding day.
