Christmas Party

WHAT: Kicking off the Christmas season with jolly music, good home cookin’, wonderful friends and an abundance of geo-talk.

Christmas Food

The first order of business is filling our stomachs with good food, potluck style! In your ‘will attend’ log, tell what you plan to bring and I’ll update this page accordingly.

  • Dessert items will be added here.

Christmas Cookie Exchange

Back by popular demand, we will have the third-ever Christmas cookie exchange.

We've done the Christmas cookie exchange twice. The first time was in 2005, and then again in 2012. This will be very similar. Here is how it works (it's quite simple actually):

  • Bring a dozen cookies (homemade or store bought).
  • We will have an activity where the cookies will be exchanged. The goal is for everyone to go home with different cookies than they came with. How the exchange is accomplished…will be a surprise.
  • A disclaimer at the request of our friendly reviewer: Please note that bringing cookies is not required to attend the event, but is required to participate in the exchange.

Christmas Gifts

What is a Christmas party without gifts? This party will be no exception.

  • Bring a gag gift (wrapped or unwrapped) to the event (1 per person), no more than $10 in value.
  • The more humor in the gift, the better. (Keep it clean please)
  • The gifts will serve as the doorprizes we give away at the event.
  • Everyone goes home a WINNER!
  • A disclaimer at the request of our friendly reviewer: Please note that bringing a gift is not required to attend the event, but is required to participate in the exchange.

Fire Trucks

For anyone interested, a member (or members) from the fire department will be on hand to show off the fire trucks, the equipment they use, and even give a tour of the station.

Share geocaching stories, trade travel bugs, sit in a fire truck, and prepare to have a jolly ‘ole time.
