This cache is hidden in a grassy area along a public footpath... not too far from Furness Abbey. It is close to another footpath that my first Geocache ‘Monksey Business’ was located on back in 2011. I have chosen this location so I could place this type of cache, as opposed to said location holding any particular meaning to me.
Though, as mentioned, this cache does bring you to a stone's throw away from Furness Abbey, which is always worth a visit. Free parking is available at the Amphitheatre, with this cache a short 5 minute walk away.
Once parked up, you will want to walk up Manor Road, and turn right onto the signposted public footpath. You will then have a short walk to where the cache is located.
The footpath does cross a railway line just before you get to the cache, so PLEASE follow the guidelines located on the gates. Be sure to look both ways and look and listen out for any trains.
You will need to bring your own pen/pencil to sign the log, as there is not room for one nor any trackables or swaps.
Anyway, best of luck! Just a warning... this cache is pretty evil, as evidenced by a lot of the DNFs it has! Please don't give too much away - keep it fun and happy caching!
