Around 1900 C.J.Hurstbought 40 acres in West Covina, he grew walnuts and oranges. The ranch remains today just about like it was in the early 1900's. It's considered a "living history museum".It's available for special events and is open to the public the 2nd Saturday of the month, kids would enjoy a visit. The cache can be reached from the side walk,no need to enter the ranch property if it's closed. Original contents are log, pencil, and 1943 steel penny for FTF.
