Cache was placed 5/7/02; Jost van Dyke Island. Steep climb from the easily walked trail out of White Bay. BEWARE and PREPARE; It has been noted in March of 2018 that the cactus has not only expanded incredibly but that also the recent Hurricanes have blown it down and SEVERELY impeded the path to the cache! For this reason the cache Terrain grade has been increased to 4.5 ! Boots, heavy pants, long sleeves and gloves seem to be necessary! Oughta keep the Muggles away!
On Jost van Dyke Island, anchor at White Bay (N18'26.454 //W64'45.646) Dingy into the beach at Black Point for great drinks and shopping. But don't drink anything but water. Your reward for being the 1st to find this cache will be an evenings enjoyment of the local spirit in the name of Mount Gays best. Lots of hometown trinkets, postcards, clickers,(sorry, but I took the camera to use on our trip)and a great cigar! Definitely rewarding for adults and kids.Take 'BVI Ducky' for a ride and set him loose wherever!
