Geocache Description:

Sandy Beach is where our community hosts so many different functions, from 5 K runs to the Annual Salmon Bake , Easter Egg Hunts, Weddings, Reuniouns, Company picnics, you name it , we have been using this site for over a hundred years! And the local natives have been using it for thousands! Here are located ancient fish traps still visible, with a little help from our local Forest Service personal who know all about it, and heiroglphics on the rocks, and so much more. Lots of fishing, crabbing, and shrimping right in front of your view. Not to mention the icebergs and whales! Small camo pill container with log only, bring a pen! Enjoy!
