My initial intent was to make this a multi-cache with the starting
point being a nice trip up the Brownsville Trail and then a decent
down the Windsor Trail. As I was doing this hike (on a very hot
day) I'm reminded how difficult it can be for some. Keeping this in
mind I've made two seperate ones offering THE CHALLENGE for folks
who think they have what it takes (refer to Ascutney Assault #1).
Start at the Windsor Trail head, located off of RT# 44A
(www.ascutney.com/summer/directions.phtml -trail is located via
these directions, don't go to resort), offering plenty of
parking.
If you take THE CHALLENGE your best off following the directions
located in detail from Ascutney Assault #1 if for no other reason
than you will find no water on the Brownsville Trail but as you
decent down the Windsor Trail you have options-in case your ill
