Østensjøvannet er et midtpunkt på østsiden av Oslo - høyt elsket av beboerne (inklusive cacheeier) midt i dette fugleeldoradoet. Det er også et naturreservat, så behandle det med respekt og kjærlighet! Vær diskret mens du håndterer cachen, så den ikke blir avslørt - gå gjerne litt unna mens du logger.

The cache is placed close to Østensjøvannet, a very popular lake on Eastern side of Oslo. It is a Nature Reserve area protected by law, being an important bird sanctuary. You will find lots of birds and people here all year around.
The cache is placed at a somewhat risky place. Please use all the care and stealth during your search, and please also step a bit away during logging and trading to avoid that mugglers see you... This is an exposed area - especially in summer season since this is a very, very popular area for bird feeders and watchers, runners, families, childen - and sea gulls! So please be careful during your visit - but also enjoy this beautiful little pearl in the middle of suburbs in Oslo.
The cache has shrunk to a PETling, since so many of my small hide boxes have been muggled the last years. So unfortunately it will only hold a small log book - but I hope this will help so it doesn't disappear so often. Remember to bring your own pen/pencil!
