This was originally placed as an add-on to extend our series in the area that we have now handed over to another cacher and to celebrate not only International Geocaching day, but our Wedding Anniversary too!!
Initial planning took place on a very, very wet day preparing these sites and finding a new path that we have somehow missed before...we trudged back to the car rather wet, but not too miserable!! Planning more caches to entice fellow cachers to a popular location of ours. Returning on a hot day and extending the route further.
Most of the caches originally placed are around, but have been slightly re-located/ containers changed along with co-ords by the new owner so there are plenty in the area to entice you to come for this little gem :)
The views from this particular section of the walk are stunning! The route from this point and up along the top section of this series are on a gradual incline with steep decline at the opposite end. Which is why we have marked the terrain as a 2.5. If working backwards you come in from the 'Old Bwl' end.
Not a suitable route for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
Please pay attention to all signs and ensure all geo-pooches remain on leads here and along parts of the routes other caches are placed along at all times and close any gates you pass through.
Remember your pen/pencil...not to mention a camera for some brilliant scenic pictures :)
This cache will require a bit of climbing, so not advised for small children. Be careful in wet weather as the ground will be slippery!!
Large container - Please replace where found, without too much additional camo that will make it more interesting to passers-by.
