Geocache Description:

A great park with many amenities.

This park was donated by industrialist and Worthington's great benefactor Erick O. Olson. and his wife Bella G. Olson in 1943-1945. Olson owned the major Soup Creamery which ran quite successfully, even during the Great Depression, and helped keep Worthington thriving. This factory ran for many years later, closing in 1997. This man is somewhat responsible for Worthington's title "Turkey Capital of the World". Enjoy the many great amenities this park boasts: ·Open shelter ·Foot bridge ·Fishing ·Enclosed rentable shelter ·Charcoal grills ·Basketball court ·Two volleyball courts ·Picnic tables ·Beach ·Restrooms ·Beach Nook Consessions ·Bike rack, ·North Centennial boasts two baseball fields, · A skateboard park, · Another Basketball Court, ·A pickleball court, ·A roller skating rink/ice skate rink, ·And a winding bike path that rolls through town. City parks are closed after 10 PM. A busy park lots of Muggles! Medium sized container some SWAG. TSLS.
