Geocache Description:

Experience the Kep track geocache style

The Kep track is a long distance multi trail that follows the Kalgoorlie pipeline from Mundaring Weir to Northam, 75km further east. The track is wide, well graded and there are no steep hills, which make it suitable for walkers, offroad cyclists and horse riders alike.

This Geocache series runs along the Northam/Clackline section. Be sure to bring lots of water and watch out for snakes. You will need to arrange transport to Northam and pick up from Clackline.

The Billy was an important tool for our pioneering ancestors, It was a way to make water safe for drinking and was easy to carry and heat over a fire. It was common to add some gum leaves for flavour. Stop and have a Billy Tea.
