The Fish Lake Lookout Tower is one of the few towers not high on a
mountain top. It was Built in 1934 near the valley floor, this 40'
pole L-4 tower was destroyed in 1948.
This is the second fire tower lookout site in this area. The
first was built in a avalanche zone and only lasted a year. It took
me two trys to locate the remains of this tower. The old road to
the tower is easily passed by so I have added the parking coords.
After parking cross the road to find the the old road remains and
walk a quarter of a mile to cache. Cache is hidden close to remains
of tower.
