The Foxes and Dogs Travel Bug Hotel and Gift Shop provides a dry safe place for several Travel Bugs to spend a little time while on their journey to meet new Geocachers all over the world. The hotel gift shop provides an opportunity for Geocachers to do a little trading too. Live wild foxes and dogs live near the cache so if you see any live foxes or dogs or their babies Please Don't Try To Pet Them! Watch your speed on the road leading to the cache because the foxes run back and forth across the road all the time. All the neighbors near the cache have fenced in dogs and some will bite you, so please don't reach over or through the fences and try to pet them no matter how cute they act or look.
The hotel is high and dry and is about 4 feet off the ground. Bushwhacking or looking around in flower gardens is not necessary. The area near the hotel has ample parking. The hotel is located only a few feet off the road – not inside any fenced yard. Have fun and maybe you will get lucky and see a fox while you are visiting our hotel.
