A Solvable-On-Site cache. All info you need is located at the posted coordinates.
The posted coordinates will bring you to a small historical sign describing a limestone kiln constructed in 1881 by Samuel Oakley of River Falls. Remnants of the old kiln are right in front of you as you read the sign. Take a few moments and check out the kiln – it’s pretty interesting. (Side bar: this kiln is quite small in comparison to those in nearby Red Wing, MN near Barn Bluff. Check out DOC’s caches down there – it’s a great spot.)
The trail along the lower part of the Kinni will bring you right to the cache. A very scenic and pleasant walk. There are a number of access points to the trail – coordinates for one of them are posted below.
Read the limestone kilns sign you find to gather up the information for the final coordinates for the cache.

AA = Number of hours per day fires burned inside the kiln, minus 10
XXX = Cost of the kiln you see before you (built in 1881), minus 4293
Final cache is a bison tube just a short walk along the Kinni (log only, BYOP). A beautiful view of the river from this spot. Use stealth as needed and have fun!
