I have made a short or very, very short multi with 3 steps(less than 100m) to find the final cache in this historic interesting place.

Until 1645 Sweden had only a narrow passage to the sea in west and we had constant fights with The Danes who blocked most possibities and captured ships that tried to protect our rights
In the 17th century (1630), Gothenburg boasted the most advanced defense system in Europe. It had a water-filled moat, a wall around the entire city, and two fortified towers "Skansen Kronan" and "Skansen Lejonet".
Sweden lost the fortification at Elfsborg (close to the closest bridge) and had to pay a ransom (lösen Sv)

The King realised that a strong naval base further out was required to protect the city.
The naval base "Nya Varfvet" were built and old ships were sunk in a line (se picture above) over the river to limit the possibilities to enter closer to the city.
A historical description about the area can be found here
When I'm out caching I carry a supply of replacement log sheets so that I can help out the cache owner by carrying out any maintenance that's required.

If anybody would like to replace any logs that need urgent servicing in my caches, please do so.
Happy hunting.
