Geocache Description:

Meganom Cape is famous for having one of the biggest Ukrainian wind power-plants. The cape itself is about 200 meters high, so you may want to push a bike up the gravel road sometimes or drive a car instead.

There is also a nearly dormant military base (air defence post) with some inactive radars on top of the cape. But the main attraction is undoubtedly an array of wind turbines. If you're lucky enough to get there during windy conditions you may hear the turbines rumbling a mile away. There are about 50 turbines, and about a third of them had their blades dismantled or otherwise stopped.

If you get past military base and power-plant and continue your journey towards the sea, you may drive down to a mini beach with good camping and panoramic viewing spot.

The cache is located on the roadside, under the little oak. Look for a few stones near the branch. The container is beneath them.

N.B. This cache is listed as TR581 in GeoCaching.SU project but has been ravaged recently. I took the honor to restore it and by virtue of this I also wish fellow foreign geocachers to get familiar with the beauties of the Crimean nature.
